At Audio Shade, I don’t like to run sales, and here’s why…
I prefer to set fair prices that reflect the true cost of the library.
It seems to be common in most industries to use price anchoring, where the seller falsely inflates the price and then offers a discount for a tempting “deal”.
Well, I certainly don’t want to prey on my customers’ psyche that way.
I’d rather price my libraries in a way that accurately represent the amount of time and resources dedicated to making awesome sounds.
So, in general, you won’t see any sales for my libraries. Very rarely I’ll host a sale once every 2-3 years for a small amount for some obscure reason.
You’ll notice how my bundles offer discounted prices. These are always available and never go away.
In short, I don’t like sales. I don’t want to cause shopper’s anxiety. I’d rather charge an honest amount and leave it that way.
As always, thank you for your support of “one of the little guys”. I really appreciate you.
Cheers
Mike
Here’s part of my gear from the “Dishwasher Destruction” library.
All in all, it probably took me around a week to make.
As such, this library was priced at a nominal amount.
The hardest part was probably lugging an entire dishwasher to this barren location and not breaking my back while throwing it around!
